MRS. POLLY KROPF

Polly, daughter of S. L. and Mattie (Christner) Miller, was born March 20, 1885, at Brooks, Oregon, and passed away at the Silverton hospital, Silverton, Oregan [sic Oregon], on Sept. 14, 1952, at the age of 67 years, five months and 25 days.

On Jan. 14, 1906, she was united in marriage to Harvey E. Kropf of Hubbard, Oregon.

Surviving are her husband, three sons and three daughters, Ivan S. of Molalla, Oregon, Mabel (Mrs. Uriah Roth) of Molalla, Allen of Hubbard, Charity Pearl of Lebanon, Oregon, Pauline (Mrs. Emanuel Gerig) of Albany, and Calvin L. of Hubbard. She also leaves 18 grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Tillie Jones and Mrs. Delilah Kropf, and one brother, Sam L. Miller, all of Hubbard. One sister preceded her in death.

She was a faithful member of the Mennonite church from her youth and will be remembered in the community for her kind deeds and helpful ways. She participated in sewing circle work for many years, as long as her health permitted, and will be greatly missed in the home and by all who knew her. Funeral services were conducted at the Zion church by the ministers Nicholas Birky and Chester Kauffman. Burial was made in the Zion cemetery.
