Services Held For Native of Russia

Winkler, Manitoba. — Funeral services were conducted at the Mennonite Brethren church here Feb. 2 for Mrs. Annie Kroeker, 76 widow of Jacob A. Kroeker, who died in 1945.

Mrs. Kroeker was born in Alexanderwohl, South Russia, on April 17, 1885, and came to Canada with her parents, Rev. and Mrs. Peter Nickel, in 1902. She was married in 1905. Her life was an active and happy one. She was devoted to her family, but her home was always open to visiting evangelists, missionaries and friends. She was also active in church work, charitable endeavors and missionary activities.

Surviving are four sons and four daughters, 31 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, thee brothers and five sisters.
