REBECCA A. KREIBUILL

Rebecca A. Kreibuill, 2215 E. Tuscarawas, Canton, Ohio, was born April 22, 1875, in the home where she lived her entire life.

Early in life she learned to know and love Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized by Rev. H. P. Krehbiel and received into the Canton, Ohio Mennonite church. Although the small congregation disbanded she remained true and steadfast in her faith.

She and her family had an active interest in the work of the Church, and she attended two General Conference sessions, one in the Hereford Mennonite church, Bally, Penn. 1899 and the conference at Bluffton, Ohio in 1911.

Through the medium of “The Mennonite” she kept in touch with the larger movements of the General Congerence [sic]. Her parental home was host to many conference people traveling east or west.

After a brie sickness of one week she departed this life to be with the Lord June 20, 1955.

Since the Canton church had disbanded she with her parents and brothers and sister often attended worship at Sterling, Ohio and in later years in the First Mennonite church, Wadsworth.

She reached the age of 80 years, one month and 28 days. One brother, Henry, survives his sister.

Rev. A. J. Neuenschwander conducted the funeral service and used John 14:1-2 as a text. Interment was made in Westlawn, Canton, Ohio.
