THEODORE KREHBIEL

Funeral services were held Monday Oct. 17 for Theodore Krehbiel of 2317 Ward St., a long-time Berkeley, Calif. Resident who died Thursday in an Oakland hospital following a long illness. He was 81 years old.

A carpenter, Mr. Krehbiel came to Berkeley 26 years ago from the St. Joaquin Valley. He had been in retirement here since ab out 1940. He was a native of Iowa.

Mr. Krehbiel was an active member of St. Paul’s United Presbyterian Church of Berkeley.

Survivors include his wife, Emma, and his son, Glenn E. Krehbiel, both of Berkeley, and his daughter Mrs. Edith Kohfield of San Francisco.

Farewell services were held Monday at1:30 p.m. at the Little Chapel of the Flowers, Adeline St. at Ashby Station, with Rev. Arnold Nelson of St. Paul’s United Presbyterian Church officiating.
