DONNELLSON RETIRED FARMER DIED

Donnellson, Iowa. — Funeral services for Frederick C. Krebill, 75, were held at the Zion Mennonite church here Aug. 26, Rev. Vernon H. Neufeld in charge. Mr. Krebill was born northwest of here and lived on the same farm all his life until he moved to Donnellson in 1942.

He leaves his wife, three sons, 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

FREDERICK C. KREBILL

Frederick C. Krebill, 75, passed away suddenly at his home in Donnellson, Iowa, Saturday August 23, at 6:20 p.m.

He was born March 9, 1878, in Lee county northwest of Donnellson. A farmer by occupation he lived on the same farm all his life until he moved to Donnellson in 1942. He was a member of Zion Mennonite church.

On October 19, 1904, he was married to Marie Vornkahl in her home. She survives as do also two daughters, Mrs. Walter Koller of Donnellson and Mrs. G. O. Clark of Woodville, Ohio; three sons, Raymond of Tacoma Park, Maryland, Melvin and Ellis of Donnellson; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon. Prayer service to relatives in Millers’ Home for Funerals at 2 p.m. preceded services in Zion Mennonite church at 2:30 in charge of Rev. Vernon H. Neufeld.

Mrs. Howard Leisy, Misses Hilda, Mary and Lillian Krehbiel sang “Shall We Gather at the River" and ‘The Beautiful Stream," accompanied by Miss Lillian Krehbiel.

Interment was in the Mennonite cemetery, the following serving as ball bearers: Henry Hennies, Harry Krehbill, Fred Loges, Gordon Krehbiel, Fred Krebill and Donald Krehbiel.

Among the relatives and friends from a distance attending the services were Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Krebill and family of Takoma Park, Md., Mr. and Mrs. Gaylord Clark of Woodville, Ohio; Delbert Koller, Cheyenne, Wyo.; Mrs. Clement Griffith and Donna of Indianola; Mrs. Ida Krebill, Harvey Krebill, Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Hansman, Mrs. Rhoda Hoffman, Miss Nellie Walker and Willard Lowenberg of Fort Madison; Miss Elizabeth Rest, Springfield, Ill.
