ELLA HELEN KRAUSE

Ella Helen Krause was born Aug. 17, 1910 to David and Lena Goertz near Gotebo, Okla., where she spent her childhood.

She united with the Mennonite church in August 1929.

She was married to Herman Krause on Nov. 30, 1930, and they enjoyed married life for almost 34 years.

In 1941 they moved to Porterville, Calif., where they made their home for more than 22 year. They moved to Sunnyvale, Calif., where they have made their home since. She died there on Sept. 4, 1964, of a heart attack.

Funeral services were held in Porterville on Sept. 8, 1964. Rev. Clifford Ford of the First Methodist Church officiated. Interment was in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Porterville.

Mrs. Krause is survived by her husband; two sons, Doyle and family of Bakersfield, Calif. and Marvin and family of Fresno, Calif.; Karen Ann Remington and family of Porterville, Calif.; her mother, Mrs. Lena Goertz of Newton, Kan.; Mrs. Nora Daubert of Denver, Colo., Mrs. Velma Dyck of Newton, Kan., and Rosa Quiring of Las Vegas, Nev.; and four grandchildren.
