ANOTHER PIONEER IS CALLED

Mrs. Jacob Krause Dies at Her Home at Reedley, California

Reedley, Calif, Feb. 21. — Mrs. Agatha Krause, wife of Jacob Krause, died at her late home, 122 K street, Saturday morning, February 18, at 9:30 A. M. She was aged 70 years and was native of Russia. She had been a resident of the United States for 52 years, the last eight years in Reedley. She is survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs. F. J. Becker, of Pasadena; Mrs. A. F. Patzskowki of Oklahma; Mrs. Peter Petker, of Shafter; Mrs. J. L. Just, of Reedley; Peter Krause, of Rosedale; J. J. Krause, of Bakersfield; Henry Krause, of Wasco; Mrs. Betty Hagen, of Bakersfield; Mrs. Chas. V. Hitchcock, of Shafter. A sister, Mrs. Katherine Harder, of Oklahoma; and a half brother, Abe D. Neufeld, of Reedley.

There were twenty-eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild surviving.

Funeral services will be held from the Mennonite Brethren Church on Wednesday, February 22, at 2 P. M., interment in Reedley cemetery. — Reedley Exponent.
