EDWARD F. KRABILL

Edward F. Krabill, was born near Wayland, Iowa, April 4, 1890. He had been in failing health the last several years. On Thursday evening, April 16, he was taken to the Washington County Hospital and passed away at 9:15 a. m. Saturday morning, April 18, at the age of 63 years and 14 days.

All his life he lived in the Wayland and Nobel communities, attending Stringtown school as a boy. In his early manhood he united with the Eicher Mennonite church and remained a member to the end.

On March 11, 1914, he was united in marriage to Lydia Wittmer of Wayland. To this union was born one son, Emerson, who to him was ever a companion and joy throughout his life.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, a son, Emerson and wife three grandsons, Larry, Kenneth and James and a little grand-daughter, Marilyn; also a brother Noah and wife of Davenport, Iowa and one nephew, William and wife of Clinton, Illinois, and a host of relatives and friends.

He was a kind husband and father, always of a cheerful disposition, and will be greatly missed by those who knew him best.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 20, at the Eicher Mennonite church in charge of Rev. Willard Leichty and Rev. R. E. Burke. A male quartet sang two numbers. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
