RESIDENT OF YARROW, B. C. MISSION HOME DIES AT AGE OF 101

Yarrow, British Columbia. — Mrs. Anna Koop, a resident of the Yarrow Mission Home, passed away Sunday, Feb. 6, at the age of 101. Funeral services were conducted at the First Mennonite church here by Rev. John Klassen and Missionary Henry Neufeld.

Mrs. Koop was born in Russia on Jan. 24, 1854, and her marriage to Paul Koop took place in Russia in 1876. Before moving to the Mission Home here in 1946, she resided at Lulu Island, B. C.

Surviving are three sons and two daughters, six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and an aged sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Thiessen of Dundurn.
