Montezuma, Kan. — Vernie Jay Koehn, 26, a native of Gray County, died in a motorcycle accident in Dallas, Tex. on Sunday, Jan. 9. Funeral services were held at the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite near Montezuma on Jan. 13.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse R. Koehn of Montezuma, a brother and three sisters.
Mr. Koehn, who had been living in Dallas the last four years, was employed as a parts man for FFE Truckers Assn. at Lancaster, Tex.
