• Simon B. Koehn, 86, retired farmer of Halstead, died July 12 in a nursing home in Haven. Survivors include his widow, Elizabeth; sons, Elton and Boyd, both of Halstead; Virgil, Klamath Falls, ore.; daughters, Dorothea, of the home; Mrs. Geneva Bell, San Anselmo, Calif., and Mrs. Margaret Ann Jantz, Riverside, Calif. He was a member of the Halstead Grace Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. The funeral was set for Tuesday forenoon at Kaufman Chapel, Halstead.
