Montezuma, Kan. — One hundred and sixty-six descendants are survivors of a long-time resident of Montezuma who died Feb. 18.
The survivors of Bernhard H. Koehn, 97, a retired farmer, include four sons, five daughters, 47 grandchildren, 108 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition one brother and one sister survive.
A native of Poland, Mr. Koehn married the former Helena Wedel at McPherson on Jan.12, 1896. She preceded him in death in 1943. He died at Trinity Hospital, Dodge, City, and funeral services were held Feb. 20 at the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite near here.
