● A 101-year-old resident of Bethesda Home, Goessel, died on May 20. Funeral services for Agnes Koehn, a Bethesda home resident since 1962, were held May 23 at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church near Goessel, with Kenneth Rupp officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Survivors include six sons, Jacob C. of Goessel, Corny, Frank, John and George, all of Newton, and Irvin of Blaine, Wash.; three daughters, Nellie Esau of Newton, Margaret Revell of Spring Valley, Calif., and Martha Penner of Emporia; 30 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Her husband, Cornelius C. Koehn, preceded her in death in 1956.
