MANITOBA PIONEER DIED RECENTLY IN NEUBERGTAL [sic NEUBERGTHAL] COMMUNITY AT AGE OF 84

Altona, Man. — One of the oldest Mennonite pioneers in the Neubergthal community, Peter P. Klippenstein, died at his home ther [sic] Saturday morning, Feb. 17.

Rev. G. Loewen officiated at the funeral services which were held at the Rudnerweide church on February 20. Interment was also made in the cemetery there.

Mr. Klippenstein was 84 years of age having been born in Russia, May 24, 1860. He immigrated to Candaa with his parents about 70 years ago and has lived in the Neubergthal community most of the remaining years of his life.
