Retired Minister’s Wife Dies in South Dakota

Freeman, S. D. – Relatives and friends from a wide area attended funeral services at the Hutterthal Mennonite Church near here Dec. 5 for Mrs. Rebecca Kleinsasser, 82, wife of Rev. J. W. Kleinsasser, retired minister.

Mrs. Kleinsasser died Dec. 2 at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Joshua B. Stahl near Yale, S. D., where the couple had been residing due to failing health. they would have marked their 60th wedding anniversary on Dec. 16.

The couple lived here from the time of their marriage in 1916 until 1919, when they moved to Spink County. In 1943 they moved to Huron, S. D. Surviving in addition to Rev. Kleinsasser are four daughters and three sons and their families.
