News of General Interest
— Death claimed one of the early settlers in the Freeman, S. D. area with the passing of Mrs. Kathrina Kleinsasser on June 13, at the age of 84. She came to South Dakota from South Russia in 1878, and in 1884 was married to Mathias E. Kleinsasser. She was a member of the K.M.B. church. Four daughters and two sons survive. Sister Rachel Kleinsasser of the Bethel Deaconess hospital, Newton, is a daughter and cared for her during her last illness.
