YOUNG MOTHER FATALLY STRICKEN

Mountain Lake, Minn., Sept. 27. — Mrs. Louis A. Klassen, 22, died suddenly Monday evening at their farm home three miles south of Mountain Lake. She had been in good health and had given no indication of not feeling well until after she had gone to bed and then she died almost instantly.

She was born in Volt, Mont., on February 28, 1923, and lived there until several years ago when her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob K. Redekopp moved to this community.

Surviving her are her husband and a two-months-old baby and her parents, who are at the present time on a trip to the west coast. — Mountain Lake Observer.

ROSA KLASSEN

Rosa Frieda Redekopp Klassen was born near Lustre, Montana, on February 28, 1923. Here she also received her elementary education. In 1936 she entered the Fort Peck high school. Here she found Jesus as her personal Saviour and related this glad message to her parents with joy.

Conditions in Montana forced her parents to leave Montana and the family moved to Dallas, Oregon. Here she was baptized upon the confession of her faith by Elder J. H. Quiring on July 31, 1938, and accepted as a member of the E. M. B. church.

In 1940 she joined the church at Mountain Lake, Minn. She has tried to serve her Master in all sincerity and meekness. She served as Sunday School teacher as member of the young people’s program committee, in the choir, etc.

On September 14, 1943, she was joined in holy wedlock with Louis A. Klassen. This joyous companionship of two years and nine days was only of short duration.

During this time they made their home on the parental farm about three miles south of Mountain Lake, where to their joy on August 3, 1945, a baby boy was born.

On September 24, 1945, at 10:30 her Saviour called her home to her eternal reward in gloryland. She was in good health, feeling well, until after she had gone to bed, when death came almost instantly.

She leaves to mourn her departure her bereaved husband, Louis A. Klassen and son, Delbert Lee, eight weeks old; also her parents on both sides, brothers and sisters, grandparents and a great circle of relatives and friends whom she always appreciated and treasured.

To me as husband she was a ray of sunshine in our home. We mourn her sudden departure but with the assurance that we shall see her in glory with her Saviour. She reached the age of 22 years, 5 months and 24 days.

A precious one from us is gone
A voice we loved is still
A place is vacant in our home
Which never can be filled.
