● Peter Klassen, 80, of Hillsboro died May 12 at Bethel Deaconess Hospital in Newton. He was the brother of John Klassen of Goessel, R. A. Klassen of Newton and Otto Klassen of Hillsboro. His widow, Lydia (Funk), also survives. Services were held at Trinity Mennonite Church, Hillsboro, on May 14.
