— On Tuesday, May 7, at the Sommerfelder church at Altona, Man., funeral services were held for Peter Klassen, an 83 year old pioneer who died there on Saturday, May 4. Mr. klassen came to Canada with his parents in 1875, and has lived there all the rest of his life. Bishop Petr Toews was in charge of the funeral. Five children survive.
