MARY KLASSEN

(Mrs.) Mary Klassen of Morden, Man. pass- ed away on February 24. She was born June 28, 1916 to Cornelius and Susannah Loewen in Silberfeld near Gretna, Man. The family moved to Morden in 1926. She married Jake Klassen on April 10, 1938. She was baptized and joined the Morden Mennonite Brethren Church in 1938. The couple farmed in the Morden area till 1972, when they retired to Morden town. She is survived by her hus- band Jake; seven children and spouses: Rose and Dave Froese of Oakville, Man ., Art and Aylene of Winnipeg, Linda and Hugh An- drew of Oak bank, Man., Ted and Anita of Regina, Peg and Don Neufeld of Roland, Man., Alan and Helen of Vulcan, Alta., and Danny of Calgary; ten grandchildren, two sisters and one brother. The funeral was held February 27 in the Morden MB Church with pastor George Braun and Victor Neufeld officiating.
