Educator, Native Of Mt. Lake, Killed

Mt. Lake, Minn. — Relatives here attended funeral services at Dilworth, Minn. on March 29 for A. H. Klassen, 69, well-known Minnesota educator and a native of this community who was fatally injured when struck by an automobile near his home..

At the time of his death Mr. Klassen was executive secretary of the North Central Council for School Television and worked with KFME educational television, Fargo, N. D. He spent most of his life in public school administration, retiring in 1965 after 19 years as superintendent of the Dilworth schools.

He was a graduate of Tabor College (Kansas), received the Master's degree from the University of Kansas, and had done graduate work at the University of Minnesota.

A family service was conducted in the Presbyterian Church at Dilworth, and a public memorial service in the high school auditorium.

Survivors include his widow, a son and daughter living in Washington, D. C., three brothers and four sisters.
