● Mrs. Arnold (Martha) Klaassen, 63, of rural Goessel died Sunday evening at the Bethel Deaconess Hospital. Services were held Wednesday at the Tabor Mennonite Church, rural Newton, with Rev. James Schrag in charge. She was married in 1937 to Arnold D. Klaassen. They lived at Inman for about four years before moving to the Goessel area where they have lived ever since. Survivors include her husband; a son, Donald of Wichita; a daughter, Mrs. Norman (Marcia) Hiebert of rural Newton; three brothers, Pete Doerksen of Inman and John R. and Martin Doerksen, both of Buhler, three sisters, Mrs. Orlando (Marie) Strausz of Buhler, Mrs. Pete (Helen) Heidebrecht of McPherson and Mrs. Curt (Katherine) Franz of Inman; and six grandchildren.
