IVA FRANCIS KISER

Iva Francis Kiser, daughter of Menno and Salome Zook, was born April 14, 1891 near Garden City, Mo., and passed to her eternal reward on Nov. 23, 1961 at her home near Cheraw, Colo., aged 70 years, seven months, nine days.

Dec. 31,1914 she was married to John Kiser, who survives. To this union were born two children, one daughter Velma (Mrs. John Evers) and one son, Lloyd, who also survive in addition to seven grand children, all of whom live in Cheraw community. She was preceded in death by her parents.

In her early teens she accepted Christ and was baptized in the Bethel Mennonite Church near Garden City, Mo. At the time of her death she was a faithful member of the East Holbrook Mennonite Church, Cheraw, Colo.

Iva was a faithful companion and mother. She will be greatly missed by her family and many relatives and friends. Her faithful attendance, support, and concern for the church was an outward evidence of a deep inner abiding faith.

During her extended illness and suffering she was patient and ready to go when her time came.

Funeral services were held on Nov. 25, 1961 at East Holbrook Mennonite Church in charge of E. E. Showalter and Clifford King, interment in adjoining cemetery.
