THIRD INJURED WHEN CAR SKIDS AND RAMS INTO STONE WALL

Paradise, Pa. — Funeral services were held in the Ronks community Oct. 28 for two young men who lost their lives in a highway crash Saturday night, Oct. 24. A third youth, brother of one of those killed, was seriously injured.

Services were held in the forenoon for Samuel A. King, 19, son of Chris F. and Lydia King who died in the hospital Sunday evening of a fractured skull. In the afternoon services were held for Daniel N. Zook, Jr., 21, son of Daniel and Sarah Zook, who was instantly killed in the crash.

The three youths were en route home when their car skidded on wet pavement near Smoketown and rammed into a stone wall. Amos King, 21, brother of Samuel, sustained head injuries but is recovering. The car was demolished.
