In General

. . .

— Amos King of West Liberty, Ohio, met accidental death at his home on Saturday afternoon, October 28, while he and his two sons were shredding corn. The three started their work in the usual manner in the morning, and everything went along without difficulty throughout most of the day. At 2:45 o'clock in the afternoon preparations were made to stop work, and while untying the blower of the shredder Mr. King lost his hold and fell to his death. The deceased had been an active member of his church serving the Lima Mennonite mission as board secretary, besides holding many other church offices. Funeral services were held at the South Union church near West Liberty, Ohio.
