ZELMA KENAGY

Zelma Minnie (West) Kenagy, was born in Hubbard, Ore., June 5, 1906. She went to be forever with the Lord on Sept. 13, 1962. Her age was 56 years, three months and eight days.

She was married to Roy Kenagy on July 21, 1929. The Lord blessed this marriage with two sons and one daughter, Leroy of Salem, Ore., Clarence of Anchorage, Alaska, and Audrey (Mrs. Perry) Schrock of Lebanon, Ore. Living also are 19 grandchildren, her father, Harry West, step-mother, Francis, and two brothers and three sisters.

Sister Zelma passed away peacefully and quietly in her home just east of Hubbard. She was baptized on confession of faith at the Hopewell Church and later transferred to the Zion Mennonite Church, where she was a faithful member until the time of her death.

The funeral service was held at the Zion Mennonite church, three miles east of Hubbard, Ore. on Sunday, Sept. 16. Pastor John M. Lederach and Deacon John Garber were in charge. The interment was in the Zion Mennonite Cemetery.
