— Henry J. Kempf, lifelong resident of southeastern Iowa, died at his home in Wellman on Sept. 29 at the age of 76. He and his wife, the former Lydia Ann Gingerich, farmed in Iowa and Washington counties for many years. Funeral services were conducted at the Wellman Mennonite church by Max Yoder and Edward Diener.
