RALPH L. KEHN

Ralph L. Kehn, son of Joe and Elizabeth Kehn, was born Aug. 19, 1908, at Fairview, Okla.; died in the Merced, Calif. hospital Dec. 28, 1959, at the age of 51 years.

When he was five years of age he moved with his parents to Turlock, Calif. where he grew to manhood. At about 25 years of age he started his business of making boxes, which later was named the Kehn Nailing Company.

In his early 20's he went to a revival meeting of the Church of God, accepted his Lord and Saviour and was baptized in the Church of God in Fresno. After that, while living in Winton, Calif., he taught Sunday school class in the Mennonite church for about four years. In later years he lived in Turlock again, where he was married. There he attended the Church of Christ.

On the evening of Dec. 21 as he was leaving Winton, Calif. enroute to his home in Turlock he met with a serious accident. He was rushed to the Merced hospital. After much suffering, which he endured patiently, he passed away unexpectedly on Dec.28, 1959.

He was of a friendly disposition, and well liked by many. We will miss him, but submit to God's will.

He leaves to mourn his sudden passing his wife Sue; one daughter, Judith Sharon; one step-daughter, Linda, and one step-son, Gary; his parents, Joe and Elizabeth Kehn of South Gate, Calif.; one sister, Lela Ann; three nephews and many uncles, aunts and cousins. One sister, Ida May, preceded him in death. — Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kehn.
