ONTARIO BOY DROWNS WHILE ON VISIT WITH GRANDPARENTS
Steinbach, Man.— Eleven-year-old Richard Kehler of Atikokan, Ontario drowned in the swollen waters of the Roseau River July 11 while on a visit with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hildebrandt of the Stuartburn community. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Kehler, and six brother and sisters survive.
The youth went swimming with a group of boys who reported he was floating on an inner tube when they left the river for their homes. Later a search was begun but no trace could be found of Richard.
