LARGE NUMBER ATTEND FUNERAL SERVICES FOR ACCIDENT VICTIM
Kingman, Kansas. — Funeral services for Marvin Krehbiel, who was instantly killed in a truck-train accident at Hutchinson on Feb. 10, took place at the Bethany Mennonite church near here on Thursday afternoon, Feb. 13. It is estimated that between 1,500 and 2,000 persons attended the funeral, which was one of the largest held here in recent years.
The young man and a companion, Fred Keast, 39, lost their lives when the state highway department truck they were driving was struck by a Santa Fe passenger train at a Hutchinson crossing.
