SOUTH DAKOTA YOUTH KILLED IN ACCIDENTAL DISCHARGE OF RIFLE
Marion, S. D. — Tragedy struck at the farm home of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Kaufman near Marion on Saturday evening, Nov. 7, when their 11-year-old son, Robert, was killed by the accidental discharge of a deer rifle.
Funeral services were held at the Salem-Zion Mennonite church near Freeman on Nov. 10. Rev. Hugo Mireau officiated in the absence of the pastor, Rev. Olin A. Krehbiel.
