Ralph Duane Kaufman

MOUNDRIDGE—A memorial service was held Oct. 14, at Eden Mennonite Church, for Ralph Duane Kaufman, who passed away at his home in Kerrville, Tex., on Oct. 9, at age 68.

Ralph was born Jan. 31, 1933, at Moundridge, the youngest child of Dave and Helen Kaufman. He attended Berlin, Pleasant Ridge, and Liberty Elementary Schools and Moundridge High School.

On March 15, 1958, Kaufman married Ruth Wohlgemuth of Hillsboro. They spent most of their married life in the Denver, Colo. area, moving to Texas in Sept. 1998.

Ralph was a 1960 graduate of Denver University. After ten years as business manager of the Denver Country Club, he joined Horton Cavey Realty Company in Parker Colo., as manager, and later as co-owner and president.

Surviving him are his wife, Kerrville, Tex.; two brothers, Harold and wife Helen of Hutchinson; Merlin and wife Vicki, Moundridge; two sisters, Verna and husband Virgil Goering, Galva; and Neva and husband Elvin Schrag, Moundridge; and many nieces and nephews and their children.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Grimes Funeral Home, Kerrville, Tex., was in charge of arrangements for cremation.
