BITE OF RABID SKUNK PROVES FATAL TO SOUTH DAKOTA BOY
Marion, S. D. — Three-year-old Gregory Kaufman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Kaufman of the Freeman community, died in a Sioux Falls hospital Oct. 5, the result of being bitten on the hand by a rabid skunk several weeks earlier.
The lad had been given the Pasteur treatment after the incident, but suddenly became ill and died within a short time.
