LENORA MAE KAUFFMAN

Lenora Mae Kauffman, daughter of Frank and Nettie (Hostetler) Eash was born July 19, 1931, at Shelbyville, ill. She went to be with her Lord on Jan. 4, 1961, very unexpectedly, after a brief illness.

On April 5, 1951, she was united in marriage to James A. Kauffman of Creston, Mont.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, two sons, Elton D., 8, and James E., 4; her mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Eash, Corvallis, Ore.; three sisters, Mary (Mrs. ira Baker), Harrisburg. Ore., Mabel (Mrs. Aldine Kauffman, Creston, Mont. Verna (Mrs. Curtis Kauffman), Shedd, Ore.; one brother, Lloyd Eash, Corvallis, Ore., and a host of relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, who died just shortly before her birth, and one brother, Milo Eash.

In her youth she accepted Christ as her Savior and united with the Conservative Amish congregation at Harrisburg, Ore.; her family having moved there when she was three years of age. After her marriage she transferred her membership to the Mountain View (Old) Mennonite Congregation near Creston, Mont., where she and her husband made their home. She was active in church work, having served as Sunday school teacher, and as president of the sewing circle. At the time of her death, she with her husband and Mr. and Mrs. James Marner were conducting Sunday school regularly in the neighborhood where they resided.

She is greatly missed in the home and by all who knew her, but we know our loss is her gain, so we do not mourn as those that have no hope in Christ. — The Family.
