Jesse J. Kauffman, 54, died from cancer recently. He is survived by his wife, Lorene Stone; two daughters, Ruth and Lois; seven sons, Mark, Arlan, Joseph, Nathan, Titus, Roy, and Jason; three sisters, Lizzie Mae (Mrs. Abner) Zook, Katie Shoys and Turie (Mrs. Clarence) Alwine, two brothers, John and Samuel; and five grandchildren. He was a farmer at Spring Mills and a member of Brush Valley Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held with Douglas Graybill officiating.
