Elizabeth Kauffman, a resident at the Mennonite Home, died April 14 after many years of suffering. Funeral services were held at Fairview Mennonite Church on April 17. A memorial service was held at the Mennonite Home. She is survived by two daughters, Nadine Gerig and Fern Kauffman, both of Albany, three sons, Marvin of Albany, Gerald of Elkhart, Ind., and Ervin of Portland; one brother, Ben Birky of White Sulphur Springs, Mont.; one sister, Amelia Miller of Lincoln, Neb.; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
