— Mrs. Elizabeth Kauffman, pioneer resident of Wayland, Ia., passed away at her home there on Jan. 10. Having lived in Iowa all of her 89 years, she experienced many of the hardships of pioneer life. Funeral was held at the Wayland Mennonite church, rev. Elmer Basinger officiating.
