Charter Member Dies At Congerville, Ill.

Congerville, Ill. — Funeral services were held at the Congerville Mennonite Church recently for David Andrew Kauffman, 91, a lifelong resident of this community and a charter member of the local church.

Mr. Kauffman was a well-known building contractor here and also served as assessor for three years.

He was born in Congerville on Oct. 6, 1871, the son of Jonathan and Gertrude Sharp Kauffman. He was married to Bertha Maurer on Dec. 1, 1904. Survivors include five sons and one daughter.
