text of obituary:

STEVEN WAYNE KARBER

Steven Wayne Karber, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Karber, was born Sept. 25, 1957, in Seattle, Wash. Complications following a tonsillectomy resulted in his unexpected passing on Oct. 4, at the age of three years and 10 days.

At the age of one year he accompanied the family in moving from Seattle to Everett, Wash. In spite of a considerable amount of throat and respiratory illness, Steven always displayed a very cheerful disposition. He will continue to be remembered, by those who knew him for his friendly manner and pleasing personality. He was especially fond of music and loved to sing Sunday school songs and choruses.

He leaves to mourn, his parents David and Mary Ann Karber, a sister Judith and two brothers David and Paul; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Karber of Blaine, Wash., and Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Pauls of Pullman, Wash.; a large number of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted Oct. 8 in the Whitehorn Mennonite Brethren church with Nick Rempel officiating.
