FARM HAND FOUND DEAD
McPherson, Kans. — Bill Jones, farm hand employed at the Simon Stucky farm her, was found dead one evening about two weeks ago.
According to the McPherson county coroner, death evidently came to Mr. Jones as the result of a skull fracture received when the team he was driving ran away.
Late in the afternoon when the Stuckys returned to their farm home they found the team hitched to th hayrack, but could not locate the farm hand.
After a search the body was found at about 9 o'clock in the evening, near the gate leading to the meadow. Jones had evidently gone to the meadow for some hay when the accident happened.
