— Funeral services were held last Friday afternoon at the Emmaus Mennonite church for Mrs. Kathrine Janzen, who at 90 years of age was perhaps the oldest resident in the Whitewater community. She died at the Bethel deaconess Hospital Wednesday, Aug 18. She was the widow of the late Jacob Janzen and had lived in the Whitewater neighborhood for the past 59 years.
