ANNA JANZEN

Funeral services were held in the Mennonite Brethren Church of Chilliwack, for Mrs. Anna Janzen who passed away in the Chilliwack General Hospital on May 10. Rev. Henry Warkentin officiated.

Mrs. Janzen (nee Willems) was born in the Crimea on May 20, 1886. She was married to Aron Janzen, and together with him, made her home in Siberia. In 1926 they emigrated to Canada, settling in Raymond and later coming to Chilliwack in 1947.

Mrs. Janzen accepted the Lord as her Saviour in 1908, was baptized and accepted into the Mennonite Brethren church. During many years of ill health she trusted the Lord and often expressed the wish to go home. She was pre-deceased by her husband (in 1929) three sons and one daughter.

She leaves to mourn one daughter Mrs. S. (Annie) Robertson, Chilliwack; six sons; Aaron, Glenwood, Alberta; Frank, Claresholm, Alberta; Abe and Pete, Chilliwack; John, Vancouver; Jake, Calgary.
