MARION COUNTY PIONEER DIES
Hillsboro, Kan. — Funeral services were held at Marion on Feb. 13 for Mrs. Anna Knaak Janzen, 85, pioneer resident of Marion County who died at her home in the Strassburg community on Feb. 10.
A native of South Russia, Mrs. Janzen came to this region with her parents at the age of two. Her husband was John J. Janzen. Surviving are eight children, 23 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren, and one brother, Corn. Knaak of Elba, Neb.
