REV. B. P. JANZ OF STEINBACH, MANITOBA DIED OCTOBER 24

Steinbach, Manitoba — Rev. B. P. Janz, 67, a minister of the Brudertaler E.M.B. church since 1912, died unexpectedly at his home here on October 24 of heart attack. He appeared in good health and was active until the day of his death.

Besides serving as minister and Sunday School teacher, Rev. Janz was also engaged in various local business enterprises — such as milling and produce — until his retirement several years ago. He was widely known here and in the States as secretary of the E.M.B. mission board.

Among the surviving family members are Mrs. Janz, their 10 children and 25 grandchildren.
