BURNS ARE FATAL TO THREE YEAR OLD LUELLA JANTZ OF TAMPA, KANSAS
A deep tragedy shocked the community at Tampa, Kansas, when Luella Jantz 2-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Jantz of Tampa, Kansas, died last Friday in a McPherson hospital of burns suffered Thursday at the Jantz farm.
According to Mr. Jantz, he and his wife were working in the farmyard when the child ran screaming from the house, her clothing ablaze. He expressed belief the child had opened a door to a stove and caught her dress afire.
Funeral services were held at the Mennonite church at Tampa.
