Jantz. — Jesse, son of brother and sister D. D. Jantz was born Nov. 10, 1920, near Montezuma, Kans. Departed this life at 7:00 P>M>, Sept. 1, 1920, at the home of his parents near Montezuma, Kansas.
Dear Jesse had been an active and healthy young boy all his life up till Saturday, Aug. 31, at 7:00 P.M., when his clothes were accidentally saturated with burning gasoline which burned him fatally.
The funeral services were held at Montezuma Mennonite M. H. Bro. H. H. Wiens, introduction and prayer. Bro. J. E. Friesen, text, II Sam. 12:15-23. The remains were laid to rest in the nearby cemetery.
