MRS. HELENA ISAAK

Mrs. Helena Isaak, of Saskatoon, wife of David Isaak, went to be with the Lord on February 8. The funeral was in the Central Mennonite Brethren Church of Saskatoon on February 10. Rev. Mark Gripp officiated.

Mrs. Isaak was born August 20, 1901 in Orloff, Sagradowka, South Russia. As a girl she spent her school years in a village called Neu Schoensee and at the age of 18 she was baptized upon her confession of faith. In 1922 she was married to David Isaak and in 1925 she and her husband came to Canada, settling at Gelray, Sask. Later, in 1933, they moved north to Glenbush, Sask. In 1956 they retired to Saskatoon.

She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Mary) Harms of Glenbush, Mrs. Peter (Annie) Arendt, Glenbush, Helen Isaak, Prince Albert; four sons, Jake of Medstead, Sask., Peter and John of Saskatoon, David of Glaslyn, Sask.; and one brother, J. J. Janzen, of California.
