text of obituary:

ROBERT JAMES ISAAC

Robert James Isaac, son of Cornelius J. and Ella Isaac, was born in Kitchener, Ontario, on May 17, 1953. At the age of three years a diagnosis by medical doctors revealed muscular distrophy and it was his weakened physical condition due to this disease which led to his death when he contracted a slight case of pneumonia. The Lord called him home on October 6, at the age of 13 years, four months and 19 days. He is survived by his parents, one brother, three of four grandparents and many friends and relatives.

Robert was a quiet boy yet within the limitations of his disability he liked to participate in the things which boys love to do and spent many happy days together with his family. God made it possible for him never to complain about his physical disability. He knew his years on earth would, in all probability, be few, and accepted this as God's plan for his life. Robert had accepted Christ into his personal life and when during his last illness his father asked him whether he was ready to meet his Saviour if the hour should suddenly come, he cheerfully said, "Yes, I'm ready."

It is memories such as these which take the sting out of the sudden parting. He will be missed, but there is comfort in the full assurance that he is where there is no sorrow, and in the anticipation of meeting again.
