(MRS.) MARY ISAAC

Mary Isaac (nee Friesen), 62, wife of Abe C. Isaac of Abbotsford, B.C. passed away rather unexpectedly on January 9. Funeral services were held in the Central Heights Mennonite Brethren Church on McCallum Road, Abbotsford. Rev Nick Dyck, assisted by Rev. H. H. Nikkel, conducted the services.

She was born October 14, 1905 in Neu Samara, South Russia. It was there, too, that she found the Lord and determined to live for him. Both in Russia and in Canada she taught Sunday school.

She was married to Abe C. Isaac in 1932, the Lord blessing them with 35 happy years together. Their family consisted of five children, four sons and one daughter, Lynne, who joined the family at 16 years.

Although she was not strong and had much work at home, Mrs. Isaac was also active in community services as the PTA, Salvation Army drives, Blind Fund drives, the Hospital Auxiliary, etc. May the Lord reward her.

She is survived by her husband, Abe C. Isaac; sons, Bill at Kelowna, B.C., Rudy at Clinton, B.C., Edward at Haney, B.C. and Ronald studying at the University of Washington, Seattle, Wash.; daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Lynne) Kroeker, Abbotsford; and five grandchildren.
