ABRAHAM J. ISAAC

Abraham J. Isaac, son of A. T. and Marie Isaac, was born February 26, 1879 near Inman, McPherson county, Kansas, where he grew to manhood.

He was united in holy matrimony with Marie Wiens on March 8, 1903. To this union, seven children were born, of whom two preceded him in death in infancy, also one grandchild, two brothers and three sisters.

He lived in McPherson county, Kansas, until 1906, when, he moved to Beaver County, Oklahoma. Here we shared joys and sorrows until his departure.

He was a kind and loving husband and father and was always ready to lend a helping hand at home and in mission work. When asked about his soul salvation while he was sick, he expressed a great desire to have peace with God. Many prayers were sent to the Throne of Grace in his behalf and he accepted Jesus as his personal Saviour through faith. He thanked God for forgiveness of his sins. He also expressed his willingness to follow the Lord in water of baptism, if it pleased the Lord to restore his health again. He found peace and comfort in the familiar verse, "Christi Blut und Gerechtigkeit." He often repeated the words "Jesus paid it all." He was much concerned over the welfare and salvation of his family and prayed much for them.

He became ill on December 7, and on December 14, he was taken to the Epworth Hospital in Liberal, where he quietly passed away on Wednesday, December 22 at 4:20 P.M.

He leaves to mourn his departure his wife, two sons, Abram and Ernest, three daughters — Esther, Mrs. Elias Ratzlaff of Minneola, Kansas; Regena [sic Regina], Mrs. Marvin Janzen of Medford, Oklahoma; Erna, Mrs. Will Ediger of Gray, Oklahoma, 16 grandchildren, one brother and 3 sisters.

We mourn, but not as such that have no hope. Thanks be unto God, the Father who has given us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Bereaved Family.
